The Consultation
Homeopaths work in different ways. A classical homeopath like
myself, needs to get as full a picture of the patient as
possible in order to provide an individual diagnosis. The consultation is therefore very different to a consultation
with your GP.
I will ask you questions about your emotional, mental and
general symptoms as well as your temperament and personality.
This individualised total assessment helps me to select the
remedy that best suits you.
As a classical homeopath my aim is to identify the remedies
which will work specifically for you. This approach enables me
to select a homeopathic medicine from over 2000 remedies, based
on your complaint, other symptoms, personality and prior medical
history.
The initial consultation will last approximately 1 ½ hours. The
aim is to provide you with your remedy at the consultation or
within a week if further study of your case is required.
Subsequent consultations, which usually occur every 5 or 6
weeks, last 30 - 45 minutes. These include an assessment of your
progress and next steps.
The cost of your regular medicines is included within these
consultation fees.

I recommend joining
HSA or
Benenden Healthcare to reduce the cost of your
treatment. Membership of other private medical health insurance
plans can often be used to help cover some of the costs. If in
doubt speak to your health insurance company.
Hospital, hospice and home visits are also available however an
additional charge will be added to the cost of the consultation.

across England, Scotland and Wales.

I am able to offer you advice and support between consultations.

answer your concerns within 24 hours, except for weekends and
Bank Holidays.
The cost of this support is included within your consultation
fees. A charge is made for any extra medicines required.
